Important Announcements

Jerseys

These are official team jerseys and we will not be able to order replacements. If a player loses their jersey, referees can prevent them from playing so please keep them safe!

All jerseys will have your players last name embroidered on the back. Fundraiser participants from November selected their numbers, and all other players were assigned numbers at random. Remember: the number doesn't make the player, the player makes the number.

FAQ

What are Pep Rallies?

A pep rally is a short, fun team building event held right after practice to celebrate the players' hard work, build team spirit, and get everyone hyped up for game day.

Instead of drills and play-calling, it’s all about having fun, bonding with teammates, and leaving the field with great energy.

Game Day

Game days are what the boys work so hard for all week! To create the best environment for our players, coaches, and families, we ask everyone to follow these core expectations:

  • Arrive On Time: Ensure your player is at the field at the specified call time so they have proper warm-up and prep time with the team.

  • Cheer & Hype Up the Boys: Be loud, positive, and encouraging! Bring the energy and celebrate their effort on every play.

  • Respect Coaches & Refs: Let the coaches coach and the refs call the game. Maintain sportsmanship from the sidelines at all times—we represent our team and community.

  • Leave No Trace: Always help clean up our bleacher area and sideline after the game so we leave the field better than we found it.

When will we get our jerseys?

Update on 08/11: At practice this week!

What if my player will be late to practice or a game?

What if my player is going to miss or be late to practice? Notify the head coach as early as possible (ideally at least 2 hours before). Consistent attendance ensures safety, proper conditioning, and field placement for game days.

What if my player will need to miss a game?

Football is a team sport where every player has a role, and the team relies on everyone being there on game day. We understand that conflicts and emergencies come up, so please follow these guidelines if your player cannot attend a game:

  • Give Advance Notice: As soon as you know your player will miss a game, notify the head coach via [Insert App/Text]. For planned absences (family events, trips), please give at least 48 hours' notice.

  • Illness or Emergency: If your player wakes up sick or an emergency arises on game morning, text the head coach immediately so coaches can adjust position lineups and special teams roles before kickoff.

  • Unexcused Absences: Skipping a game without notifying the coaching staff beforehand impacts the entire team's preparation and safety, and may result in reduced playing time for the next game.

  • Support the Team: If your player is sidelined due to a minor injury or illness (non-contagious) but can still attend, we encourage them to wear their jersey and support the team from the bench!

Volunteer Expectations

It takes a village to give the boys a great football season! To make sure every game day and team event runs smoothly, each family is required to fulfill three volunteer roles during the season:

  1. One Pep Rally Event: Work with a partner (teams of 2) to help host/coordinate one of our 30-minute post-practice Friday pep rallies.

  2. One Shift for Chains: Run the chain crew on the sideline for one home game.

  3. One Shift for Concessions: Help work the concession stand during one home game shift.

There will be plenty of dates and opportunities available throughout the season so you can pick the slots that best fit your schedule.

24 hour rule

If you have a concern regarding playing time, coaching decisions, or a specific game event, please wait 24 hours after the game before reaching out to the head coach. This allows time for emotions to cool so discussions remain productive and positive
